Position Overview

As the Vice President of Talent Acquisition, you will lead and manage our national recruiting efforts, focusing on sourcing and hiring clinical talent such as RNs, LPNs, CNAs, HHAs, and PCAs in rural and hard-to-recruit areas. You will oversee the entire recruitment function, driving operational improvements and collaborating with the executive team to ensure caregiver coverage for all patient care hours. This role is essential in aligning recruitment strategies with the company's growth objectives, utilizing data-driven decision-making to ensure we attract top talent.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment Strategy & Leadership
  • Develop and execute a national talent acquisition strategy to build a steady pipeline of qualified caregivers in underserved areas.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing recruitment team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and operational excellence.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership on workforce planning, hiring challenges, and labor market trends.
Operational Leadership & Collaboration
  • Partner with Regional Directors and the VP of Operations to identify staffing needs and create regional hiring plans.
  • Work closely with the Chief Growth Officer to align recruiting strategies with business expansion and growth forecasts.
  • Ensure smooth collaboration between field operations and corporate recruiting teams.
Performance Management & Metrics
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, quality of hire, and retention.
  • Use data analytics to identify bottlenecks, optimize recruitment workflows, and improve recruitment outcomes.
Innovation & Process Optimization
  • Evaluate, implement, and optimize recruitment technologies, ATS platforms, and sourcing tools to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.
  • Introduce creative sourcing techniques and recruitment marketing strategies to attract talent in niche and rural markets.
Preferred Qualifications

Education & Experience
  • 8+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role (Director-level or above).
  • Proven success in recruiting clinical talent (RNs, LPNs, CNAs, etc.), especially in rural and hard-to-recruit areas.
  • Strong background in managing high-volume recruitment functions and workforce planning.

  • Expertise in building and managing recruitment dashboards and performance metrics.
  • Exceptional leadership and team development skills, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders across all levels.
Additional Qualifications
  • Experience in a private equity-backed environment.
  • Familiarity with home health care or healthcare staffing is a plus.
  • Understanding of caregiver labor markets and compliance requirements in home health.
